Data Deletion

This page describes how to request the deletion of personal data processed by BienCible, operated by RestRanslate SASU (Antibes, France, 06). The procedure depends on your role with the Platform.

1. You are a BienCible User (Agency staff)

To request deletion of your account and associated data:

  1. Send an email to contact@biencible.com with the subject "Account deletion request — BienCible".
  2. State your full name and the email address linked to your account.
  3. Processing time: within 30 days of receipt.
  4. Immediate effect: your account is disabled as soon as the request is received. Data are permanently erased after a 90-day retention period.
  5. Data kept beyond that period: only what is required by law (security logs 12 months, invoicing records 10 years).

2. You are a Buyer whose data were entered by an Agency

Your data were entered by an Agency that uses BienCible to support you in your property search. Under Article 28 GDPR, the Agency is the data controller; RestRanslate acts as a processor.

  1. Contact the Agency handling your file first — they can delete your profile directly from the Platform.
  2. Failing that, write to contact@biencible.com, specifying the name of the Agency and, where possible, the agent. We will forward your request to the controller without undue delay.
  3. Processing time: within 30 days of receipt.
  4. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data-protection authority (CNIL): cnil.fr.

3. You are a Prospect (vendor whose listing was aggregated)

BienCible aggregates publicly available real-estate listings. Your data (phone, email) do not originate from BienCible but from the platform where you initially published your listing (SeLoger, LeBonCoin, PAP, Bien'ici, Green Acres, Belles Demeures, etc.).

  1. Contact the source platform first to remove your listing. This deletes the data at the root and prevents any future re-aggregation.
  2. To remove your data from BienCible specifically, email contact@biencible.com, attaching the URL of your listing or any helpful identifying information.
  3. Processing time: within 30 days of receipt.
  4. Complete and permanent erasure, with no retention after processing.

4. WhatsApp messaging (Meta Cloud API)

BienCible uses Meta's WhatsApp Business Cloud API to deliver alerts. If you no longer wish to receive WhatsApp messages from a BienCible Agency:

  • Reply STOP to any WhatsApp alert: the opt-out is logged immediately and blocks further messages to your number.
  • You may also email contact@biencible.com with subject "WhatsApp opt-out" to request manual removal.

5. CNIL contact

If you consider your rights are not being respected, you may file a complaint with the CNIL:
